Big Girl Bed

Mommy and sis getting ready for bed. While she was potty training she insisted on reading "once upon a potty." After her bed time stories she always says, "I want another one." Both of my children would read stories all night if they could.

Ellie transitioned into her big girl bed. She spent the first hour jumping on it, and now it is strickly for stories and sleepy time. She is growing up so fast and doing something every day that makes me want to turn back the clock.

John brought our recumbent bikes on the trip. Ellie was sure to be on his lap when he went for a ride. We all had a lot of fun on the trip. The best part of Sun Lakes was riding on the tube behind the ski boat. My brother in law Jake was driving the boat, and he was trying to get us to fall off. My cheeks hurt from laughing so hard, it was the most fun I have had in months!

The NUDE BEACH! I couldn't resist taking a picture of her little body before she got a new swimsuit on. She loved playing in the sand and splashing around in the lake.

Fishin on the dock with daddy. Jensen wanted to be on the dock the entire time. He was determeined to catch a fish. Unfortunately he never did hook one, he sure enjoyed letting out his line and "rweelin it" back in. His daddy is going to take him to a U-fish pond so he can have some success.

Jensen was so excited when his "pappy" showed up with his jetski. Jensen came running into the house yelling, "mommy, mommy, pappy bought me a boat!" He spent most of the afternoon before we went to sunlakes on that jetski. It was difficult to tell him that it wasn't a gift.

Ellie's 1st Make-up set

I started this post a couple months ago, but never finished. Ellie Loves make-up! She is right by my side everytime I do my makeup. Usually she will put something up to fer face as if she applied it, then run and show her daddy. I would often catch her trying to get it from a high shelf, she calls it "mommy's mae kuk" After re-purchasing many broken eye shadows, I decided to get a make up kit of her own. BIG MISTAKE!!! After a couple hours of make-up fun, everything was covered in a waxy substance. I don't know what they put in the children's make-up, but it is not child friendly. I have been on the lookout for "pretend" make-up. We have only had a couple of big make-up disasters, but that is plenty for us!
