Alvin Ailey

Last night the dance instructors went to a Alvin Ailey show in Downtown seattle. It was Amazing! The dancing is unique as well as the music. My favorite dance was the one pictured above.

I have been meaning to post this video. The frogs are cool, but it is after the frogs that I couldn't believe. This has nothing to do with Alvin Ailey, but these dancers are Incredible!

Looks amazing! And we are going to name our baby either Lila or Elizabeth, probably Lila McKay (tyler's middle name) since it's our last kid! Do you guys have any names picked out? My friend just had twin girls and named them Sunny and Lucy- how spring-y is that?! It's hard to choose a name. After we used Grace (after her Grandma) we found out how common it was and it drives me nuts! Anyways, I need your email too. I think the one I have for you guys is old!

That's about 80 pounds of limber right there! I thought it was amazing when she went ON POINT on his shoulder and started spinning. Holy cow. Next thing I know, she's spinning on point on his head! Wow. Good thing she's 80 pounds.

That's so nice you got to go to a show with friends in Seattle :) I just watched part of that video with the girls and Anna kept saying, "I'm a ballerina - just like that!" Almost.... ;)

You're going to teach Lauren these dances, right? She just ran in the room and saw the video and KNOWS she can do this too. With a little practice, I am sure she can :)

Where did that audience come from? They deserve an Oprah audience that actually freaks out and claps for no reason! These people are doing super human things and the audience is giving a courtesy clap for like ten seconds! That was amazing. Makes me want to go to a really good ballet. That is better than anything I've ever seen.
