King 5 News

Watch King five news from 5 to 6 tonight and see our baby! A few months back Amy, from King 5, interviewed us and has been really sweet as she has followed our story ever since via the blog world. She called me a couple of hours ago and let me know she is doing a short follow-up piece of our sweet babe. There won't be any pics from today unfortunately. I imagine she will use a couple of pics from before and give a report on her status. Thanks Amy for your kind words and your prayers.

Mia continues to look great. Will post some pics soon.

I've been so excited all day to hear how everything went. I'm so happy! I'm watching the news right now and getting impatient, but they usually put happy stories at the end of the news, darn it!

Oooh - for those of us who live far away, you should record the news segment (or have someone else do it for you since you guys are so busy!) and post it on your blog!

Oh Mimi! I just read your blog. I have been out of town for a few days, and also been sick. You are the first person I always go to when I log in. I scrolled down and read that Mia had gotten her new heart!
I started bawling! And I mean bawling! My husband thought I had gone crazy! I called my Mom, my cousin, my Grandma, EVERYONE! (They all look at your blog!)
We are so happy for you and your family. Glad Mia is doing great, please keep us posted. We are still praying for her!
Much Love, Andrea

Marie, I have been following your blog since like May and was so happy to read your post this morning about your little Mia getting a heart. Your blog has touched my heart and I am amazed at your attitude and optimism throughout this trial you have been going through. I couldn't be happier for you and your family and wish you all the best in the months to come. You and your family will be in our prayers. Hailey (Bergin) Tueller
