She was sure cute in the interview but a little stingy with the smiles!

The video should be up soon. In the article is states "Mia" when it should say "Mimi" - oh well.

I was able to read the news story on their webpage, but I couldn't watch it. Am I missing something, or have they just not posted the video yet. I can't wait to see little Mia in action.

Mimi, I really wanted your kiddoes to come over and play today. Makayla told me she was waiting at her window wondering when you would bring Jens and Ellie over. (Because I had told her I did not know if they would be coming.) I am sorry about the croupe thing, of course I don't plan for these things but I wish I could have helped. I am loving the pictures of Mia. All of those pokes. Poor thing. Yeah, coming home Friday. That is fantastic.

Dang it, I missed the news tonight. However I was able to see the adorable picture of Mia, and read the story on Komo4's webpage. (However they got Mimi's and Mia's name mixed up a few times.) Individuals have left some sweet comments there as well.

I am sooo happy for you guys, Mia looks good, and I am soo glad not to see all those tubes all over her anymore. It will be nice to see the McDonald family back together again in one house, with their sweet little one. Sweet Mia has brought many people together, and has taught us so many things. Thank you John and Mimi, for allowing all of us to share this journey with you guys, the ups and the downs. You are a wonderful family!

My first thought (besides how CUTE Mia is) was how PINK she looks! You must still just be floating from the change from two weeks ago to now. I am so happy for your family and hopefully we can meet someday! Shouldn't be hard since we both are Y members! It was so awesome to see the big sign at the Y saying Mia got her heart.

Praying that Friday is the big day and the transition home goes great! What an amazing place to be, home.

Love, Jesse

You guys are such show offs! Can I get your autograph?:)You're giving Mia a "childhood star" complex! Totally kidding! You're story proves that there is light at the end of the LONG LONG tunnel.
Love ya!

Your last post made me sad about all of needles. I am sure your motherly instincts want to pull your baby away from the bad needle people and you want to say, "stay away from my baby!"

We love you all!

O.K. She is SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!! She looks so healthy and chubby and pink. It's fun to actually see her move and interact instead of just pictures. You guys did a great job!! Jensen and Ellie are going to be in Seventh Heaven with her coming home and with Mom home too!!! What a wonderful day that will be.

I just read it, on their site and it's so touching, stories being broadcast like this really make others aware of the need for donors and motivate them to do something about it.
