Mommy Match Up

The other day I was thinking about how I don't know anyone with the same aged/gendered kids as I have. I know of other families with kids that match up. For example, I can think of about five families that have three girls roughly the same ages. I am curious to know if you,... the readers of my blog, know my mommy match up.

What is my match up? A mommy with a 5 year old boy, 4 year old girl, and 9-12 month old baby girl. I realize that the 5 yr/4 yr combo might be difficult to come by, but there has to be someone... right?

I just want to know if there is someone out there that is "same same"!

I may just have to extend my search criteria to 6 & 4. Let me know if you know any one... even if they are not bloggers. I know I'm weird!

Merci beaucoup!!

I feel your pain, sista! I'll keep a keen eye out. And if you happen to find anyone that has boys 6, 4, and 3 and a 1 1/2 to 2 year-old girl, let me know. I think my match may be even harder to find than yours. And I don't think you're weird at all. I always wish that I had a mommy match up and get excited if someone has 3 of the 4 ages right, forget about the genders. Anyway, I'll try my darndest to find her for you! Promise!

Found one!! A family here in GA of all places has a 5 year old boy, almost 4 year old girl (I believe she turns 4 really soon or already has) and a 12 month old girl. Sorry they aren't moving closer to you. They are moving to Boston and will be greatly missed here.

We're sort of close. We've got a 5 year old girl, 4 year old girl and 1 year old boy. Same genders and similar ages, just wrong gender match-ups. There seem to be a lot of people with two girls and then a boy though. We have some friends with same gender and same ages within two or three months on each kid.

What I find funny is that you, Nat, and *Sarah* all have Ellies close to the same age! That's a match up!

I am pretty close to being your mommy match up. My boy/girl twins are 4 (turning 5 in July) and my baby girl is 12 months!!! To bad we don't live close I am sure our kids would love to play together.

Haha. I have never found anyone with the same combo I have either. I have a 6yr old girl, 4yr old boy and 3yr old girl. It just seems most people don't have them 12mos apart.

Can't help you with this one. Kamryn's 9 and Owen is 15 months. If it were part of Heavenly Father's plan, we would have a bunch in between. It just wasn't and no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't have one in 8 yrs. Owen was our big surprise and WOW is he always coming up with more surprises for us! :) I'm thankful to just have the two right now.

You do have a difficult matchup. I'll keep my eyes and ears open.

So, I have never commented on your blog, but I read your updates :) I linked off of your blog through a friends. You have the sweetest family and the most delicious looking baby Mia!! ;) To bad you don't live in Idaho...I seem to have the same problem. 5yr old Boy, 3.5yr old girl, and 16 month old girl....so far, I think I'm the closest! :)

You are so funny! Can you email me and tell me what kind of camera you have? Your pictures always turn out beautiful (Like the ones of your kids playing in your yard). I want that camera!

If you broaden your search to include different genders...I'm a match for two of them...

Go back 6 years and I was your perfect mommy match!! My oldest two are only thirteen months apart so my son was 5 my daughter 4 and my littlest girl was easily 9 months old during that year. (Actually she was anywhere from 5 months on during that year.) Now fast forward 6 years and they are 11, 10, 7, and I've added 5 (boy) and 3 (boy). Can you match me in 6 years??!!!

I feel like we're tight, since I read your blog through Rebecca the Great (photographer and mommy). I have a boy who will be 5 in a month, a 3 1/2 yr old girl who acts like she's 13, and then a 14 month old boy...so he can be Mia's boyfriend then, right? So I'm pretty close, and I live nearby...It's a fun idea to find that perfect mommy matchup, especially when you go places together and everyone sees two mommies and 6 kids pile out of the cars...they just wait for that TLC videocamera to follow..they'd for sure think it's some reality show being taped! Especially here in our state, compared to Utah. :)
