Camping Trip

No we did not go camping!! Are you crazy? Well, not yet anyway. We took the kids to roast hot dogs and marshmallows down at the River. Mia was sweet as usual- just sat in her stroller mesmerized by the fire.

When we told Jensen our plans he immediately went to the drawer, got our a writing utensil and wrote down the word "camping." He is really into labeling everything these days. It is kind of his natural response to something new. After John designated where we were going to build the fire we were all busy carrying the stuff in. When I finished getting Mia settled I looked up and saw a tree stump with a post- it that was clearly labeled CAMPING. I LOVE THIS KID!

I can't wait for summer- I feel like it has been years since I've seen a summer!!! More posts to come...when I stop watching so you think you can dance. Check back tomorrow :-)

We are taking Haley (she and Mia are only a couple of days apart)on her first camping trip mid-July. It's funny to see the kiddos wearing jackets and you not being able to wait to see Summer when we are battling 90's out here in Texas already. Glad you had fun, can't wait to read more about your adventures!

i also have been watching so you think you can dance. :) fun show.
we went camping with grace when she was about 4 1/2 months old. it was a lot of fun.
and as much as i'd love to go now...im not so sure it'd work so great..all the other campers would probably sabotage our tent after the first night of Grace screaming for an hour. ;)

What a great idea to go camping without really camping! My girl's would love it, anything with s'mores for sure :) And honestly, having SYTYCD starting as I'm stuck at home with a new baby is the best! I am so excited we won't have to wait all the way until next year for the next season!
